Nutmeg Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 lb. unsalted butter, at room temperature
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Heat
    oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter and flour a 12-cup capacity Bundt cake pan.
    Combine flour, baking soda, nutmeg, salt and baking powder.
    With
    an electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and sugar
    until fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating\twell after
    each addition, then the vanilla.
    On low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture in 3 parts, alternating with buttermilk. Spread in pan.
    Bake until a toothpick stuck into the
    center comes out clean.
    Bake for about 45 minutes. Cool in
    pan for 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan;\tcool completely.
    Put the confectioners sugar on top.
