Mom'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples
    sugar
    cinnamon
    butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Place a thick layer of sliced apples in bottom of buttered baking dish.
    Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon to suit your taste with dots of butter.
    Mix sugar, flour, salt and baking powder. Add beaten egg to dry mixture until crumbly.
    Sprinkle on top of sliced apples and bake at 350\u00b0 until brown and apples are tender. Serve with whipped topping.
