German Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head of cabbage
1 medium onion
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. salad oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Shred cabbage, slice onions thin.
Combine cabbage and onions. Place sugar on top.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Bring to boil the remaining ingredients.
Pour over cabbage.
Store in covered dish in refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
