Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms or 16 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/4 c. firmly chopped green pepper
    1 c. raw white rice
    2 c. canned chicken broth or chicken bouillon with water or substitute with beef
    dash of dried thyme leaves
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms, onion and green pepper in butter.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir together. Cover and cook 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 6.
