Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. large mushrooms (about 8)
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
    2 garlic cloves
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Remove stems from mushrooms.
    Firmly chop stems.
    Reserve mushroom caps.
    In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat in hot butter or oleo, cook stems, onion, garlic, parsley, salt and oregano until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Mix in bread crumbs and cheese.
    Spoon mixture into mushroom caps.
    Place, stuffed side up, on a rack in broiler pan. Broil 8 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
