Chow-Chow - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. chopped cabbage
1 qt. cucumbers
1 qt. green tomatoes
1 qt. apples
12 sweet peppers
3 lb. brown sugar
2 pt. vinegar
1/2 box mixed spices
Preparation

Tie spices in bag;
boil with vinegar 15 minutes.
Then add all the chopped
ingredients.
Simmer
until
hot and well flavored.
Pack into jars and seal.
