Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. creamed corn
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. grated cheese
    1 tsp. sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients (except cheese) in a large bowl.
    Pour half of mixture into an 8 x 12-inch baking dish and top with half of the cheese.
    Pour remaining mixture into dish and top with the other half of the cheese.
    Bake 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
