Buttery Onion Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. thinly sliced onion
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk
1 1/2 to 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper to taste
croutons (optional)
Preparation

In a large kettle, saute onion in butter over low heat until tender and transparent, about 20 to 30 minutes.
Blend in flour.
