Ingredients

1 box brown sugar
1 stick butter
6 Tbsp. flour
4 egg yolks (reserve whites)
2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Blend sugar, flour, butter and egg yolks.
Add milk.
Cook until thick.
Beat egg whites with 4 tablespoons sugar.
Pour over pies.
Bake until brown.
