Hot Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium head cabbage
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. canned milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    shake of pepper
Preparation
    Cut the cabbage; add 1 cup water.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Add all remaining ingredients but the canned milk; simmer until thickened. Remove from stove and add canned milk.
