Killer Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground chuck, 3/4 lb. sausage in bulk
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    3/4 c. finely chopped green onion
    1/2 c. finely chopped carrots
    1/4 c. finely chopped celery
    1/4 c. finely chopped red pepper
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    2 tsp. finely chopped garlic
    1 tsp. ground pepper
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3 beaten eggs
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. half and half
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Heat butter, add veggies and garlic, cook until veggies dry up.
    Let cool and chill.
    Combine spices, eggs, ketchup, half and half, blend.
    Mix veggie mix, spice mix, meats and crumbs all together.
    Blend well.
    Shape into loaf, put in pan, then put pan into a slightly larger pan with some water.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 12.
