Bavarian Style Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. sauerkraut
2 to 5 slices bacon, cut up
1/2 Tbsp. caraway seed
1 c. beef bouillon
1 or 2 onions, sliced
2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1 Tbsp. sugar
roasted sausage, bratwurst, etc.
Preparation

Rinse kraut with warm water; drain well.
Cook onion and bacon in butter until onion is soft.
Add kraut, caraway seed, sugar and bouillon and cover tightly.
Cook 1/2 hour.
Add sausage or other meat.
Cook another 1/2 hour or more.
Kraut is especially good if made one day and reheated at a later date.
