Chocolate Chip Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 graham cracker crust
    1/3 c. chocolate chips
    2 eggs, separated
    2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    2/3 c. milk
    1 envelope Knox gelatine
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Beat 2 egg yolks.
    Add 2 tablespoons scalded milk to yolks.
    Mix well.
    Add yolk to rest of scalded mix.
    Cook until it coats a metal spoon.
    Dissolve gelatine in cold water.
    Add gelatine to milk.
    Add 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, salt and vanilla to milk.
    Stir until well mixed.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Beat egg whites until stiff, gradually adding 3 tablespoons sugar.
    Fold egg whites to cooled yolk mixture.
    Pour in crust.
    Sprinkle with chopped chips.
    Refrigerate.
    When served, top with whipped cream.
