Grandma Shirley'S Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimento, crushed
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cooked macaroni
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar, cubed
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 sleeve saltine crackers
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine first 7 ingredients; stir to evenly distribute and add salt and pepper to taste.
    Pour into large casserole.
    Crush saltine crackers and spread over mixture. Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours until crackers are golden brown.
