Turtle Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1/3 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
    Melt caramels with milk in double boiler or over low heat.
    Mix by hand the cake mix, margarine and nuts until dough holds together.
    Press 1/2 dough into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 6 minutes at 350\u00b0 (preheated oven).
    Remove from oven and spread semi-sweet chocolate pieces.
    Pour on caramel mixture. Crumble remaining dough over caramel mixture.
    Return to oven and bake 15 to 18 minutes.
    Cool and refrigerate to set caramel.
    Cut into squares.
