Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 oz. vermicelli or spaghetti
4 Tbsp. butter
2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
4 well beaten eggs
2 c. (16 oz.) low-fat cottage cheese
1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
2 c. (16 oz.) tomatoes, cut up
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. crushed dried oregano
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
Stir butter into hot mixture.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs.
Form spaghetti mixture into a crust.
In skillet, cook beef, onions and peppers until tender and meat is brown.
Drain excess fat.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.
Heat through.
Put mixture into crust.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0
for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 5 more minutes.
