Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lettuce, torn in pieces
    1 c. thinly sliced white onion
    Hellmann's mayonnaise (I used Kraft)
    Parmesan cheese
    1 c. thinly sliced celery
    1 large can LeSueur English peas
    8 slices crisp fried bacon, drained and crumbled (I use Bac*Os)
Preparation
    Spread large bowl with lettuce.
    Layer onion, celery and drained peas.
    Spread mayonnaise over salad layers.
    Sprinkle cheese very thick over mayonnaise.
    Put crumbled bacon on top. Can put vinegar on peas.
    This salad may be made ahead of time. It keeps well and makes several servings.
