Hot Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. heavy cream
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 head cabbage, shredded fine
    1/2 c. pickle relish
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimiento, diced
Preparation
    Place vinegar, water, salt, sugar, paprika, mustard and oil in a pan and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Combine eggs and cream.
    Stir a little of the hot mixture into egg-cream mixture. Continue stirring and slowly pour remaining hot mixture into the egg mixture.
    Return to pan and cook on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Mix together cabbage, pimiento and pickle relish.
    Pour hot dressing over and toss lightly.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 8.
