Carne Guisada - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean beef stew meat
    1/4 c. oil or bacon drippings
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
    3 medium tomatoes, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 (4 oz.) can mild green chilies
    2 tsp. comino seed
    salt and pepper to taste
    8 flour tortillas
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add onion, green pepper and garlic. Sprinkle flour in slowly, stirring constantly.
    Add hot water. Add chopped
    tomatoes, green chilies and comino seed.\tSimmer slowly until
    meat
    is tender and sauce thickens.\tMay have to add
    small amount
    of
    hot
    water occasionally.
    When meat is tender, heat tortillas.\tPut meat mixture on tortilla, roll up and serve.
