Oliebollen Dutch Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    citron or raisins
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into hot, 375\u00b0, fat.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Drain on absorbent paper; roll in powdered sugar. Makes 30.
