Southern Pecan Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1/2 c. butter (no margarine)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats and butter and let stand until butter is melted.
    Stir in sugars, eggs and sifted dry ingredients.
    Put into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
