Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening (part butter or margarine)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon to roll dough balls in. Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; stir in. Add vanilla. Shape dough in 1-inch balls.
Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
