Corn Spoon - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
1 1/4 c. milk, scalded
3/4 c. corn meal
3/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. creamed corn (17 oz.)
3/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Grease 2-quart baking dish.
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry; beat egg yolks.
Stir corn meal and salt into scalded milk, beating hard.
Cook for a few seconds over low heat, stirring like thick mush.
Blend in butter and corn, then baking powder.
Fold in yolks, then whites.
Pour into baking dish.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until knife in center comes out clean.
