Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. thick unsweetened applesauce
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon, cloves and allspice
2 tsp. soda in 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. chopped raisins
1/2 c. broken walnuts
1 large egg
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix; bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
