Beef Parmesan - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak (3/8 inch thick)
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. oil
1 onion, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste or 2 cans tomato sauce
1 c. hot water
1/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese (optional)
oregano or basil to taste (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. margarine
Preparation

Trim meat and cut in pieces.
Dip pieces in egg.
Roll in cheese and bread crumbs.
Heat oil in skillet; brown meat.
Add onion and cook until tender over low heat.
Stir in next 5 ingredients and gradually add hot water.
Boil for 5 minutes.
Add scrapings, any leftover cheese and bread crumbs.
Top with Mozzarella cheese.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours until tender.
Serve over noodles.
