Batchelor'S French Fries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Irish potatoes, cut into 6 or 8 pieces (do not peel)
    salt and pepper to taste
    sprinkle of ginger and nutmeg
    flour
Preparation
    Wash potatoes and cut (do not peel).
    Put into cold water and let stand overnight in refrigerator until next day.
    Drain.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Sprinkle potatoes with ginger and nutmeg, then dredge in flour.
    Cook in hot oil.
