Ingredients

1 box Duncan Hines yellow butter cake mix, baked according to box directions, cooled and sliced layers
2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
Preparation

Mix together and spread between layers.
Reserve a small portion and add to a small carton of Cool Whip; spread this on top and sides.
Keep in refrigerator.
Wait 3 days before eating.
