Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 green pepper, sliced in 6 rings
    1 large onion, sliced in 6 rings
    3 c. tomato juice
    1 tsp. dried basil
    2 to 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Brown chops in skillet in oil.
    Place rice in bottom of casserole dish.
    Arrange chops on top of rice.
    Place bell pepper rings, tomatoes and onion slices on top of each chop.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Pour tomato juice over all.
    Sprinkle with basil.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
