Cheesy Broccoli Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. broccoli florets
    1 c. water (to steam broccoli)
    1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 small chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1/2 lb. Velveeta
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt or powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Steam broccoli for 5 minutes.
    Saute onions and mushrooms in butter until tender.
    Combine mushroom mixture, broccoli and water chestnuts.
    Set aside.
    Combine processed cheese and soup; cook over low heat, stirring until cheese melts.
    Pour over broccoli mixture; stir in garlic salt and pepper.
    Bake in a greased 2-quart casserole, covered, for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes, uncovered.
