Wheelstone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon, diced
    1 lb. onion, chopped
    1 lb. celery, chopped
    1 lb. ham, diced
    1 1/2 gal. water
    1/2 c. beef base
    6 c. tomatoes, diced
    2 c. tomato paste
    2 1/2 c. cabbage, chopped
    5 medium carrots, sliced
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 cloves garlic, pressed
    2 1/2 c. green beans, cut
    3 c. kidney beans, cut
    1.5 lb. colored pasta wheels
    grated Parmesan (for garnish)
    raw zucchini, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Preparation
    The noodles in this soup are fragile.
    You want to maintain the shape and color of them, so treat them kindly.
    Keep them separate and add them to the soup as you need it.
    Add 1 1/4 cups of cooked noodles to each quart of soup as needed.
    Float 3 to 4 slices of zucchini on top of bowl of soup and suggest that the customer sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
    Place the cheese nearby, so it will be convenient.
