Beef-And-Bean Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried pinto beans
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 bay leaves
Preparation
    Sort and wash beans; place in a large Dutch oven.
    Cover with water 2 inches above beans; let soak overnight.
    Drain beans; cover with water.
    Cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
