Mom'S Overnight Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. red onion, diced
    1/4 c. red pepper, diced
    1/4 c. yellow pepper, diced
    1/4 c. orange pepper, diced
    1/2 c. green pepper, diced
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar
    1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 c. mayo
    4 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Layer in ingredient order into large glass salad bowl.
    Mix together mayo and sugar; spread mayo/sugar mixture on top of other layers.
    Cover with Saran Wrap.
    Mix well prior to serving. Should be eaten immediately.
    Does not keep well.
