Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can or pkg. yeast
    5 Tbsp. melted shortening, cooled
    2 c. lukewarm water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    6 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; let set 5 minutes. Add salt, sugar and melted shortening. Add 3 cups flour. Beat well.
    Add egg and 3 more cups sifted flour. Knead well and let rise before making into rolls.
