Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    3/4 gal. whole milk or 2 tall cans Pet milk with 1 can water and whole milk to make a gal.
Preparation
    In a double boiler or large saucepan, combine sugar and flour. Add eggs and 1/2 quart milk.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture coats spoon.
    Remove from heat, cool slightly; add vanilla and enough milk to fill freezer can.
    Freeze according to directions.
