Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, soft
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. canned applesauce
    1 c. rolled oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
Preparation
    Beat butter until creamy.
    Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs.
    Beat well.
    Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Stir in raisins, nuts, applesauce and rolled oats. Pour batter into greased and floured ring mold, 1 1/2-quart size. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Loosen edges; cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
    Cool.
    Frost with thin orange powdered sugar frosting.
