Walnut Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 whole egg whites
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. sugar
    60 whole Ritz crackers (2 sleeves)
    2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and baking powder until stiff.
    Crush crackers and fold into egg whites.
    Fold in walnuts.
    Pour into a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Will be a light golden brown and firm.
    Cool and cut.
    (Better when made the day before.) Serve with whipped cream on top or Cool Whip.
