Chocolate-Butterscotch Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter, melted
    2 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Blend in vanilla and sifted dry ingredients.
    Stir in chips and nuts. Spread in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Do not overbake!
    Cut into bars while still warm.
