Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. ice cream (vanilla or favorite flavor)
    1 lb. flaked coconut
    4 oz. peppermint candies
Preparation
    Crush peppermint candies in blender.
    Scoop out large, round balls of ice cream with dipper.
    Roll each in flaked coconut until completely covered.
    Place on serving dish and garnish with cracked peppermint candy.
    Insert a birthday candle into the center of each.
    Return to freezer until serving time.
    Serve with candles lit.
