Italian Queen Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo or butter
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    14 oz. can coconut
Preparation
    Cream oleo, shortening, sugar and egg yolks real good.
    Beat in vanilla and buttermilk, adding flour alternately.
    Add nuts and coconut.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
    Cook at 325\u00b0 in pan sprayed with Pam.
    Cook until done, but not overdone.
