Potato Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and salt. Add baking powder, nutmeg and enough flour to make dough look like bread dough.
    Turn onto floured board; knead, then flatten dough to about 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut doughnuts and doughnut holes; deep fry in hot shortening.
