Pecan Pie Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Flour
    1/4 c. + 2 Tbsp. Sugar
    3/4 c. Margarine, softened
    3/4 tsp. Salt
    4 Eggs
    1 1/2 c. Sugar
    1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
    3 Tbsp. Margarine, melted
    1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
    2 1/2 c. Chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat together the first 4 ingredients until crumbly. Press into a greased 15 1/2 x 12 1/2 x 1/2 jelly roll pan, bake at 350\u00b0f. 180\u00b0c. gas mark 4 for 20 minutes. Beat together the eggs, sugar, karo syrup, melted margarine and vanilla, add pecans, pour over the crust and bake for a further 25 minutes or until set.
