Brown Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped fine
    4 stalks celery, chopped fine
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    splash of soy sauce
    1 stick butter
    1 c. uncooked brown rice
    1/2 to 1 pkg. slivered almonds
    1 small can drained mushrooms
    1 can beef broth
    1 can beef consomme
Preparation
    Saute the onion, green bell pepper, celery, garlic salt and black pepper in 1 stick butter for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the rice, almonds, mushrooms, beef consomme, beef broth and soy sauce to mixture. Pour into 9 x 13 casserole dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes.
