Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. margarine
1 c. evaporated milk
1 (12 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Prepare cake mix as directed, adding 1/3 cup margarine and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.
Mix well.
Pour 1/2 of batter into pan and bake for 15 minutes.
Cool.
Add 1/2 cup evaporated milk to melted caramels and pour over baked cake.
Spread over this the package of chocolate chips, then the cup of nuts.
Add remaining batter. Return to oven and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
