*Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon
1/4 c. drippings
1/2 c. celery, cut up
1/2 c. onion, diced
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
5 potatoes (4 c.)
Preparation

Cook bacon over low heat until crisp; drain and crumble.
Add celery and onion to 1/4 cup drippings and saute until tender. Combine sugar, flour and seasonings.
Stir into the drippings. Add water and vinegar; stir until smooth.
Bring to a boil and add potatoes and bacon.
Toss.
Serves 6.
