Fried Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 pods of okra sliced thin
    1 egg beaten
    1 cup cornmeal
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Soak okra in eggs. Mix cornmeal, salt, and pepper. Heat oil. dip okra in cornmeal. Coat evenly, then place in hot oil. Cook until golden brown.
