Lancaster Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. chopped onions
    6 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped in bite sized pieces
    1 large can corn, undrained
    3 qt. chicken stock or water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 recipe Granny's Rolled Dumplings
Preparation
    In a large stockpot, saute onion in butter until tender, but not browned.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1/2 hour. Adjust seasonings.
    Bring to a rapid boil and add Granny's Rolled Dumplings.
    Reduce heat to medium-low.
    Cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or until dumplings are done.
    Serve with cornbread.
