Chunky Chicken Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 carrots, sliced and diced
1/2 zucchini, sliced and wedges
1 large potato or 1/2 c. brown rice
1 celery stalk, diced
1 small onion, diced
2 Tbsp. butter
1 chicken (broiler-fryer)
1 chicken bouillon cube or 1 tsp. bouillon
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1 turnip (optional)
1/4 c. peas (optional)
Preparation

Boil chicken in about 4 cups water; remove skin.
Debone the chicken.
Cook potato or rice and bouillon in chicken stock.
