No Bake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 pound dates, cut fine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    pinch of salt
    2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation
    Boil until quite thick the dates, sugar, butter and egg.
    Stir so it does not stick.
    Cool a little, then mix with Rice Krispies, or more.
    Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
    Put on waxed paper to cool.
    You can spread in pan and cut into squares also.
    Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
