Squash Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium summer squash, mashed
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. onion, minced
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    1 tsp. baking powder
    oil
Preparation
    Mix squash, egg, onion, milk, flour, salt, pepper and baking powder into batter.
    Drop batter by the spoonful into hot oil and fry 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
    Turn each fritter once. Remove to paper towel.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
