Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/4 lb. butter
Preparation
    Melt butter in loaf pan (7 x 11-inch).
    Mix rest of ingredients to make batter.
    Pour over melted butter.
    Add 1 large can pie filling fruit over top of batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
